In the aspect, the Abyssinians resemble paintings and the sculptures of the ancient Egyptian cats which depict cat-like elegant with a muscular body, a beautiful arched neck, large ears and eyes formed by almond. Abys maintain today always the glance of jungle of the lybica of felis, the African wild ancestor of all the domestic cats. The source of name is not because Ethiopia, formerly Abyssinia, are thought to be the original house of these cats, but because it was reported that the first “Abyssinians” exhibs in the exposures in England are imported this country.
